    Loaded Disco

A picture of a loaded Disco in another thread reminded me of a trip back in 06.

It was to the Southern 80 ski race at Echuca. Luckily it was only four days and 80 Kms from home.

As silly as this may sound the overloaded disco was caused by two factors, the close proximity to home and the short duration of the trip.

I originally left on a Thursday with just one friend, there fore plenty of room as rear seats were folded down. Now I have two teenage sons who wanted to come but because of school and sporting commitments were unable to travel with me. As the event is not far from home my wife bought the kids and their stuff to join me on Saturday.

So not only have I lost the cargo space of having back seats down, I now have a stack more stuff.

Don't you hate that rear door sub woofer and pocket when you have a barrier and looking for every sq inch of space. I put sub in a side box and replaced door liner with chequer plate alloy.

After I made a fridge slide the extra space needed necessitated removing the sub. I haven't done anything yet and I must admit the space in the door cavity is handy to store my spare belts, old rags etc. I will get around to it one day. The picture was taken Feb 08.

Note the handle on the fridge is a home made one, as the original stuck out to far after I made the slide.
