Yep
Couldn't agree more. We went up to Warwick for the weekend and sailed up the range, mostly in 5th. Had to drop down to 4th for some of the tight uphill turns, but went like a dream.
EGT was up a tad tho. Will need to keep an eye on that. From what I can ascertain 800*C seems to be a safe upper limit.
Thanks again Tombie & AULRO
Glad to hear you guys are enjoying the upgrades.
Bewary of high coolant temps on long hills as the EGTs will push the temps up,ESPECIALLY WHILST TOWING.Change down a gear and use less throttle,it helps.
I was told to use Redline Water Wetter in mine by Marc at Beechboro 4x4 where I got my ECU from.
Ive got a new radiator in the shed, they are that cheap that you wouldnt bother getting it internally cleaned. An upgraded intercooler is on the cards to get them EGTs down.
