    Possible Stolen/Dumped LR.

    Hi Guys,
Not far from me in Chullora, there is a white two-door Defender with soft top that hasn't moved for some weeks now. It may have been dumped after being stolen as if you know this suburb, they're not really defender drivers!

The rego is NSW, BA 22 EE (last two may be incorrect) and it's located on Norfolk Rd, outside the primary school.

Drop me a PM for more info or if you want me to get a pic.

heres a bizarre thought, contact the local constabulary and ask if its a stolen vehicle??

if it is, the owner will be notified (if not already), if not, they'll check it out....maybe leave a note on the windscreen with a "interested in selling?" note or even better a "interested in joining aulro website?" note!

    cheers

A locked car was recently parked for a couple of days in the middle of nowhere on a main road alongside a farm block of mine. The hollow sound from tapping the fuel tank from underneath indicated it was out of fuel.

Could have been left there by the owner or abandoned by someone who stole it. So I rang the nearest 24 hour police station and reported it. The officer who took the call rang back later. He had traced the owner, who had left it there from the registration number. Would not have surprised me if if an unauthorised driver, possibly with a "dark complexion" had left it there though.

Police as well as owners should appreciate being alerted to possibly stolen cars. This may provide clues to identity of car thieves.
