    legalities of a body/chassis swap

    Hi, just wondered if anyone would know how you would go in qld if you put a RRC body on a D2 chassis. any help would be great.

    A D2 chassis might be a bit of work, I let the experts comment on that one, but a late D1 (IIRC) with an RRC body (all Disco interior) just changed hands to someone on this site. It was advertised on evilbay and looked very tidy and well done from what I could see in the pics.

    dont know about the swap but it would have to be engineered and registered as a re-bodied d2

    thanks for the replies, I really want to keep it simple and a RRC. might be easier to do the engine swap, just thought it would be easier to do a body swap.
    projects are great in theory!!
