Thread: Truth is indeed stranger than fiction..

This was on the local radio station today.
A group from Ireland were on a bus trip to Scotland. Seems like they were all male. The last night in the hotel they were getting ready to board the bus home when they came across a stranger in the hotel lobby who was rather the worse for wear i.e. too much alcohol.He kept asking for someone to take him home. They new by his accent that he was Irish so they tried to help him. They finally got his address from him. Seemed he was from a town in Ireland not too far from the place where the bus load of men who were about to return home were from. They decided to do the decent thing so they put him on the bus to bring him home to Ireland. Anyway he slept throughout the journey including the ferry from Scotland to Ireland. Once back in Ireland they detoured to his home town and stopped outside of the address he had given them. It was now the early hours of the following morning. One of the men from the bus got out and started knocking on the door. Eventually a window upstairs opened and a women shouted out and asked what he wanted. He just asked was this where ****** lived." Yes" came the answer "but he is in Scotland on his honeymoon"

I have heard of wanting to get away from the Wife....but on your honeymoon, thats just a tad to soon....
