    haltech stuff

    Haltech has a new product on the market which is a windows based piggy back ecu, does anyone know where how to source one at a reasonable price not the mortgage of a small nation??

    Sounds like the one that Graeme Cooper fits and dyno tunes for about $1400-1500.
    I guess if you are committed you could do the tuning yourself , but probably a good idea to have the baselines set up on a dyno as the advance curve is controlled. IMHO they do not spend enough time on part throttle values but on a 14CUX it certainly makes a difference.

    There are some happy customers on here AFAIK.

    Mines a Motec M48 but it's a DOS based interface.

    The Motec/Haltec hardware is the expensive part.

    I wouldn't mind finding another Motec M48 ECU and harness kit so I can dual map my SIIB/4.6EFI project and use the same software I use on my RRc.

    I bought a Haltech F9 I think from memory.
    Bought it at triumph rover spares.
