In keeping with the established model range of the British marque, Landrover's parent company,
TATA Motor Corporation, has today announced the pending release of the all new Landrover Defender Sport.

This modern take on the established Defender concept will feature industry innovations
such as the latest in security, such as door handles sourced from the immediate
past owner of the marque, Ford Motor Company.
Similar high security door handles feature on many existing Ford products,
and through a spirit of cooperation, are to be introduced to Landrover.



A "right hand drive" version of the Sport is also under development, and is scheduled
for release at the same time as left hand drive versions.



An extensive range of optional accessories is currently under development for the Sport,
with availability scheduled to coincide with the vehicle's release.
