I don't drink instant coffee and haven't done so since I left Telstra in 2002.
It's the real thing or not at all.
I just opened a new jag of Moccona Espresso and it is absolutely ****.
It taste like Nescafe which to me must have a lot of toasted cereals as ingredients.
I have done a very quick research on the web to see which substitutes the manufacturers are using in this saw dust....errrr coffee and found THIS article
I guess that a cup of LR sump oil will be better four our health![]()

My favorite "instant coffee" is Bali style
chuck a small handful of ground beans in a cup and pour some hot water in, wait for the muck to settle and enjoy. The last mouthful is always a mystery though
for what you can buy turkish coffee for - stuff instant
So, what is a good brand of coffee that is as quick to prepare as instant ?
I couldn.t be bothered if I had to grind it or spend a lot of time preparing it.
Thanks.
Dont drink instant at all, if its instant hot drink I want then its tea or hot chocolate. I drink the real deal through perculator or expresso machine.

You should try working in a food/beverage processing industry,,,Some of the things i,ve seen would shock you into next week.As an employee, i can only complain, in my mind, as to complain out loud will only put my job in jepody
Not that its the greatest of jobs, as I,m actualy working towards chucking the job in,,the long hours and shift work are anti-social and physicaly debilitating, there is no future regarding possible promotion, and it bears no relation to any of my qualifications. Its a dead end.![]()
don't be put off by grinding/making coffees yourself.
We have a grinder and Saeco coffee machine at home, takes me about 5mins all up to make a good latte.
that's obviously a fair bit longer than the 30-odd seconds to make an instant coffee, but i reckon it's worth it. and you get used to it, so don't find it an issue.
haven't had an instant coffee in years and don't plan to for many more years![]()
