    Its gotta be fake, how can a sink hole be perfectly formed like that, and whats underneath the sink hole, theres a huge cavity... doesnt make sense to me

    yeah I didn't think it was real & wanted to know where the building & all the solid & rock went - did some research on the geological area's & yes - there are massive Caverns under the entire city.

    I want to see the video of people going down in to it & checking it all out!!

    It is not bull, I just read the Guatemala news in spanish.A 3 storey building when trough the hole 30 meters down
    There is a lot of eco noise in the hole and the authotities are looking into evacuate several blocks in the area.
    This is not the only hole, there is another one of 50 meters diameter and 15 meters deep.
    Poor buggers

    You would be gobsmacked with what kind of formations there are under the surface.

    There are plenty of perfectly formed holes down there.

    Sink holes like this are usually formed in Karst topographys- that is there is allot of limestone under ground. water usually will dissolve parts of the limestone and leave large caverns underground perfect for putting a building on.

    I have been conversing with one of my work contacts in Guatemala last week and then on monday i got an out of office reply " due to volcano we have left early for the day " . Weakest excuse to leave early if you ask me .
