Google-ing those names is interesting.
The sender claim to be: Christopher.J.Lavis@newcastle.edu.au
So they don't even own a domain, using a hotmail addy. They are alluding to Microsoft involvement, how amateur can it get?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Thanks for posting your winning reference number! Sweet, I have emailed Dr. Boone and I am going to claim YOUR £500,000!!! Hope you don't mind!! They have already called me and I just have to send them £1000 as a security and processing payment! So I should be seeing £499,000 in my bank soon, I hope I gave them all my correct bank details and passwords!
Woo hoo!!
P.S: I kept this all secret from my wife, she is going to love the surprise when she checks our big fat bank balance soon!!

I sent the copy of the email to the Police in Qld for their reference, they have a dedicated page for this scams.
You should see the scam mail I've collected, One thing is for sure, multi-millionaires in Africa always fly Crash'n'Burn Airways....
And for some reason leave millions in cash in banks instead, say, investments. One come to mind, a air-worthy plane.
