I'm off on my holiday as well next week to Cape York. What day are you on the boat?
I'm having a holiday next week
Catching the boat to Melbourne, taking the scenic route to Adelaide, fitting Diesel Gas then taking me time home; via Loxton/north-western Victoria
It's just going to be me, a Landy and a swag so if anyone sees this Landy (minus the roofrack) be sure to give a hearty wave
Can anyone suggest any must sees or good camping spots in my direction of travel?
Thanks

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Very much looking forward to your reports on diesel gas.
Are you getting sill tanks or rear tank?
So far everyone I have talked to on the subject is 50/50 for/against.
To me everything about it sounds positive.
We camped 1 night in Ngarkat Cons Park, just north of Bordertown. Nice enough, we didn't explore tho we were just passing through. Can't remember exactly where it was, was well sign posted tho just off the main rd.
Cheers
Well I'm home again
For anyone whose interested fuel consumption was great
Highest was 11.4L/100km
Lowest was 8L/100km (on gas)
Covered a total distance of 2562km and used 256L of diesel
If anyone is thinking about fitting one of bee uteys systems all I can say is you're mad not too
Positives:
Increased drivability
More Power
Better fuel comsumption
Cost is bugger all
Negatives:
Not much
Diesel smoke doesn't smell the same ... maybe thats just a personal thing
And lastly where to next, I'm hooked
