What do you think AULRO is for ?

What is the AULRO website for ?

I thought it was for Land Rover owners & enthusiasts to share their passion for Land Rover. To talk about their cars ,what they've done to them, where they've been with them, how they've fixed them & what they like about them etc.

I don't think its for people to complain/whinge about their land Rover , the dealers/repairers & the service their getting ?

I think their on the WRONG website

    I love my Land Rover's

I think its important to be real about them, the good and the bad rather than being a group that just gets together to tell ourselves how wonderful the world is.

    Hmmm.
IMO nothing's perfect, and Land Rovers are far from it, as is anything devised and built by mankind.

If you can't discuss the downsides, as well as the upsides I'd reckon someone is steering far too close to fanaticism..

If I have a problem I'd like to think I can post about it and discuss with my mates, cause you can guarantee someone else has experienced the same 'issue' and being an ever resourceful lot, someone, somewhere has come up with a damned good fix or alternative, or usually several fixes on a theme.

No one thing can be all things to all people, if we can't be objective about our vehicles, well, maybe I am on the wrong forum ?

I dunno, could be fun to sit around a campfire, hold hands and sing 'Kumbaya'

Mate you're definately on the wrong website!

This ones the AULRO - the cheer leader squad on the AULO site can their self appreciation and back slapping. The people over here at AuLRO live in the real world where mechanical things break and then we fix them.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

What is the point in having a forum to discus anything if you cant discus the good and bad things on whatever that forum is discussing.
I would not even bother with a forum that only allows discussion that is positive about a subject. The internet is all about getting information, good and bad about a subject.

Due to extreme purist, those like me that whinge when they break from what they're not designed to do, Restorations and a few that modify the base vehicle to fit a given application we have a wealth of very genuine knowledge here based on others experiences.
