Nah, won't go there... this site is supposedly PG Rated, you know, campfire with kids around... needless to say some won't stand for it and cold water has been poured on the idea and the governing body has since gone soft on it so their name is being reconsidered...

I'm dissapointed. Your brave enough to turn up to South Africa, of all places, with a team called the all whites and you can't even tell what monica the badminton players are going to fly by.

    Yep...!

It made me laugh when the sport admin was asked by a leading prophylactic manufacturer if it could become a sponsor...

That was an atrocious decision. However given Kaka's behaviour earlier he only has himself to blame if referees are predisposed to finding him guilty.

He kind of disgusts me but I love watching him play.

I thought Robinho was far worse than Kaka for his unsportsmanlike behaviour. guess they got what they deserved in the end.

well done to the dutch. With Uruguay cheating to get past Ghana they didn't deserve to go any further.

yep, fully agree there. Does soccer have a penaly goal rule in the case of such a professional foul or is the penalty shot and red card as harsh as can be given in such cases of game saving cheating? I was gutted ghana lost out to such a move.

Go Germany tomorrow. That'd set up a pretty exciting match I think...

penalty shot and red card is as harsh as it gets.

There are two extremes of the call. Consider the Harry Kewell incident and then compare that to the deliberate hand ball of Luis Suarez.

Because Harry's came early into the game Australia were forced to play with 10 men for an extended period of time. The argument that Harry's handball was premeditated was also pretty weak. Suarez's play was in the dying seconds of the game and had no significant detrimental impact on his team. There was a very stong argument that his hand ball was deliberate.

As has been shown in this world cup there are lots of issues with the rules of game and how they are applied. Perhaps the ref should be allowed to either award the goal if it was obviously going in or allow a penalty shot if perhaps the shot would of missed, or even make it a goal regardless if the action occurred after the 60th minute.

Lots of options and possibilities to make the game fair but one thing for sure is they need to bring in video ref's at the elite level to help the man on the pitch make the right decision.

Go Spain, great game to watch. Spain 1 - 0 Germany. Unpicked the Germans time and time again. Can't remember now why I wanted Germany to win this...

Looking forward to the final. All the sweeter for Spain and first time in the final two apparently.
