Thread: Safari Photo Shoot

G'day all - one of our community is soon to be FAMOUS

On Friday Cam (cammac91) and I were asked to drive his SIII Ex-Military out to Allora for a photo shoot for Virgin Blue

So 5:30am Friday morning we left Pullenvale and made the drive out to Allora for an 8am start, no roof or sides as requested by the producer It was bloody freezing I can tell you hahahah

The aim of the photo shoot was that there is a competition in the VirginBlue Velocity club where you can win an African Safari. They wanted to advertise this but not have to fly to Africa to take the pictures so they found a Landrover like the ones they use over there CGI giraffes and lions will be added into the background aparently haha

It was all very interesting for Cam and I, alot of sitting around basically haha. Anyway time for some pictures I snapped, I'll be sure to put up a completed version of the add when it's finished.













The sun did eventually come out which made for some excellent pictures, they were all very impressed and thankful that we could make it on such short notice. 5hrs of highway driving after sitting for a month or so and the old girl didn't miss a beat. We did also fuel economy test... 17.6L/100kms hahah
