    DMTL Carburettor

    Hi all

I am interested in obtaining a DMTL Carburettor. Does anyone have one?. I am fitting it to a 2.8 engine which came out of the UK. Does anyone have any advice?

Might help if you tell us what a DTML carburettor is, and what make and model of engine uses it. I have never heard of them.

From Google they were OEM on 90 2.25 and 2.6.
I don't think these came to Australia, did they?.
Also Google show Eurocarb sells them new for about GBP200.

    G'day Folks

That would be the late type 4cyl 5main bearing crank motor, the only one's that I am aware of came out in the last of the Series 3 wagons, and they had 36IV Zenith's on them, there was never a 4 cylinder petrol coil sprung Landrover imported into Australia, only V8's in 110in WB and the 4BD1 diesel, 90's never gained an ADR in the 80's

Standard replacement carby for the 36IV is the Webber 34ICH

    cheers
