Not sure about your age but remember you spend a lot of your time and energy at work and sometimes we get burnt out/bored even doing what we know well.

I think it's a bit difficult out of principle to completely avoid buying anything Japanese. The condensor fans and AC compressor are Japanese Nippondenso or Sanden on the OPs D1 to start with anyway, plus a fair bit of other components. So he has already bought something Japanese.Quote:
