Just wonder if the Ford Transit control works in the Puma.

A company called "Command" has a range of aftermarket kits to suit most vehicles. The kits are available from most parts type shops

Autron is the one. Just make sure you get the type of control fitted that YOU want not what the installer wants to give you.

Here's a slightly cheaper cruise control:

Very easy to install, can be obtained in most good hardware stores. Can also double as a chock for a wheel when parked on a hill.

Thanks
Thanks to everyone for the info. I like the economical brick version but we all know there is no where near the room in the foot well to instal such a robust devise but at least we know its water/dust & shock proof.
I will do some more investigation into Autron systems I think.
Thanks and will keep you posted.

How come the puma doesn't come with cruise as standard
If it runs an electronic throttle - would it not be a matter of writing a few lines of code into the ecu and the extra cost of a few switches ???

I think everyone is asking that question and also why Land Rover still design the Defender with no leg room and the park brake where it is STILL!
Anyway, have been quoted $999 installed for the Autron and waiting for the second quote to come back to me.

You got to love the way technology takes us to the far nether regions of our finances... I remember well the cruise control I had on my series III. A hand throttle cable...
