    yep, (for trout) rivers are closed June long w/e to end Sep....

    dams are open all year though (with a licence)

    Talking Trip Complete.

    Just wanted to thank everyone for the input. The trip went really well. Didn't have to pull the snow chains out though (bummer). The Bridle track was great (but part closed). The scenery was brilliant all the way from Gulgong through Khancoban to Thredbo & beyond. There was enough snow to keep the kids happy and not too cold. Did some tracks around Geehi & the cabins. LOVED It.
