Thread: Shipping container transport.

What a great source of information this site has!! The general feeling is we will rent either 1, 40' container, or 2, 20' containers to make the move. Should not have a problem hiring someone to load them at either end (I'm still avoiding having my back surgery). Aiming towards some of the "Rent a Box" type of mobs.
Still not sure where we will rent for 6 months up in the northern beaches as our house is tenanted until May.
Any further information would be greatly accepted!

A lot also depends on where you intend to leave the container. A lot of councils will not allow you to leave them on the verge or in the front yard. Most companies have storage yards and why they have to be watertight. The 6m units are a lot easier to move and would require a smaller crane to lift off. You will also need access to where you intend to store them.
Make sure you insure the contents.
