Yes mate but in Ireland in the old days that was classed as a brownie point to salvation to do things like that to the English.
I loved talking to my Granddad ( mum's side ) about things like that.He definitely was a true good hearted fun loving Irishman who made a real go of it out here in Oz as did many coming from that country in the days of famine etc over there.
