NOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo! My favourite other-person's County!
Glad there was no injuries and minimal damage.
Although, if you do happen to want to roll it again, reckon I could buy the rear disc to disc diff set up, PTO and winch first?![]()
Well it had to happen one day, after many close calls dad finaly rolled the county
We headed out for a quick run yesterday only to have a roll over on the first track, while reversing back down the last section of this particular hill to have another attempt at it, the transfer case popped out of lowrange and took off down the hill a few metres and this is where it ended up
I then had to head around the long way and come in from the top then start the winch recovery. the recovery all went well with the Aldi winch on the disco paying for its self already
We hooked a strap around the chassis then ran a snatch block off a tree and winched the county back on its feet
Very suprisingly there was very little damage, gave the solinoid a little tap and she fired over without any dramers
The roof racks caused abit of damage to the roof but nothing that can't be popped out, the drivers side rear door copped afew dings along with the front guard but thats about it, barely lost any paint
Didn't even crack or break any glass or mirrors, the snorkel was a little bent but it's all good now
We were certainly very lucky to get out of it with only minimal damage and no injuries.
Gotta love flat sided cars, i reckon the disco would have been a bit more worse for ware if it was in the same situation
Vid..
P.s i have a quick video of the recovery i will load up....

Good to hear nobody got hurt, mine jumps out of high range when reversing.
Its a real pain.. Not to metion dangerous, ahh well something else to tinker with.![]()
That wasn't a roll, that was just lying down on the job, having a rest.
You didn't even break a window.
Good no one was injured and the vehicle can be repaired.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Glad to hear of the minimium roll-over damage and drama.
Nice to see the undersides now and then to inspect but certainly in different circumstances and angle.
Nice clean recovery by the looks of it... well done!
Sorry, but I had to laugh though when I clicked on the link at the bottom of your page in the sig line and saw the first picture.... looks like it likes laying over at spooky angles but...![]()

'51 80", Discovery 2, Defender 130, 101 FC + 20 other Land Rover vehicles
the side panels are scratched, the snorkels stuffed as is the drivers side mirror the engine probably ran for a bit with the pickup exposed and will have suffered for it.
given the age of the vehicle the cost to repair it is more than its worth.
I'll take it off your hands for you and wont even charge you to pick it up from your yard.
(glad to see everyone was ok and the recovery was easy.
