    hols in tassie next month

    Cuming down to tassie next month for 10days touring

    Can anyone recommend some places to stay..e.g caravan parks,
    On a bit of a budget,like to internet access,have only the car so will be in there cabins..
    Will be going from Devonport-Wynyard-Stanley-Rosebery-Queenstown_Strahan-Hobart-Southport-Swansea-St Helens-Launcestown-Devonport..

    caravan park at stanley, off seasons so cabins should be reasonable, if in stanley on a friday, saturaday or sunday, give me a pm and I have room for 4 people and give a you a good look around local area. If you can the woolnorth tours are worth a look (not cheap though)

    Snug caravan park, South of Hobart is a good base for the Southern end.

    This time of the year aint peak season, so i recon you can just about turn up anywhere and they will have a free spot

    I can 2nd the Snug CP.

    The Roseberry CP is interesting if it's still run by the 'man hating woman' . Messy split that one.

    We used the CP at Crayfish Creek (between Stanley & Wynyard) for our NW base. We found this to be a great park & great for access to most parts of the NW.

    Thanks for the advice guys - I'll also be touring around the Island in the first two weeks of August. Towing a Jayco Hawk Outback with the D2.
