Well after driving thru this river (very stoney) just about every weekday for the last 8 months, (my 4yr old daughter loves going "bumpy bumpy" when I bring her home from preschool), the D1 got stuck. Yup, finally found the only bit of the river with sand and stones.
Must get around to getting a lift lit into it, got the 33x12.5/15's on rims in the garage.
I must say that doesn't look very deepbut I wasn't there at the time

Good thing she didn't say "Dad you should get a T***ta" Good to see the swear filter is working
Dave.
My 4 year old Daughter would have said "Dad you should have gone faster" Then it would be im telling mummy!![]()
Mummy was in the passengers seat when it happened, so all the way home and into that night my 4 yr old kept saying "Poor truck stuck in the river".
Only ever been stuck twice, once in the sand in Oman (in a RRC in '99) and this time. So not too bad.
HH's, it's not that deep, but soft enough to sink to the axles very quickly. This river is known for getting trucks stuck, and one of the family friends lives next to the river with tractor and chains ready to go for us unfortunates!!
T****ta, not a chance she'd say that, she's 1/2 English and 1/2 Kiwi!
