Is this what they are using for the 5 new Ford Territory camera cars?
Maybe it is. See www.rta.nsw.gov.au/mobilespeedcameras

RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
dunno about that......but most of those locations above are fixed speed camera locations......
it appears that you cant simply slow down for the fixed cameras any more....cos they will have these new ones just as you start to accelerate again........
they even had 2 of the new ones on the same road today......so as you accelerate away from the first with a big smile on your face.....
the second camera will wipe it off for you.........
and i think they will let everyone off with a warning for the first month......
5 or 10 new territories and they are operated by private contractors to the RTA no police involment or discretiononly criteria is cost efectiveness (profit)

A ****ing joke is what it is....why is Heathcote Road not a designated black spot...I've been saying it is for years, with the amount of fatals there between the Princes Highway and New Illawarra Road. These are the last desperate gasps of a slowly dying state government, hell bent on screwing any motorist, regardless of what state you come from, for more revenue. ****s.
I don't know how that will go in court. They had two fixed cameras in a row in Sydney and one speeder was booked by both. He argued successfully that the cameras could not determine if it were two occurrences of speeding or a continuation of a single incident of speeding.
So yes if you slow for the fixed and get booked by the mobile camera you're an idiot, but if you get booked by both or all three, you're still only an idiot and not a double or triple idiot.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
When I move over to Bulia I am going to get a couple of camels.
One for sadle and one to pack me groceries !!
Stuff the comrades.
Cheers, I think.
Robert.
You NSW peoples need to get over it and move on
We have these things in the ACT for many, many years. After a while you will learn to recognise the cars parked on the side of the road (we have white Merc vans) and where they hang out. After a while they will only catch tourists and people who are not paying attention.
Just slow down for any white Territiory parked on the side of the road. Do not do what some wags did in Canberra - they crept up on the van and removed its number plates and placed them on another vehicle and then sped back and forth past the camera car (now without its number plates). The RTA received a whole bunch of speeding infringements by the van - it had booked itself.
The vehicles now have a sign warning people to remain clear of the camera vehicle etc.
