    Repairer in brooklyn Vic

Anybody know or heard about this guy in Brooklyn Vic that deals in Landrovers?
I did stop once but was put off by him as he asked me if I was selling the 130 before he even said hello, then after asking about some parts he was more interested in showing me a Ser 3 out the back he had.
Nothing to do with what I was asking for my Defender TD5
It's just he's closer to me then having to get the Def130 towed all the way over the other side of the city.

Mudnut swears by them. I swear at them.
I think the guy has a but of Alzheimers. I found him difficult to deal with.
He outsourced my work (brakes and tuning) to another company that did a good job.
Give them a try. I'd be interested in what you think. I might have just had a one-off bad experience.

    regards

    Brooklyn Repairer

Yes I have had a lot of work done by them on both my Discovery, and TD5 Defender. Winston is all over the shop, and rarely there. He seems to have a lot of side business's going on. He does the ordering , and sourcing of parts. Pat is the mechanic, and I can't fault him. He does a top job, and gets it done when he say's it will be done, and for what he say's it will cost. If they can't do the job, they do outsource the work, but still they seem to get things done properly. Still trust them more than the dealers, and a whole lot cheaper.

    Good luck,

    Ken

I dealt with Winston. Maybe that was my problem. I'll deal with Pat next time.
As I said, I was happy with the work done.

He wants a reputable Landrover workshop for an inspection.
If you saw this place, you might not think it fits the bill.
When they saw my Landy, they gave me the impression they wanted me to sell parts off it. Then they wanted to know if I wanted to sell the whole thing. Probably for bugger all.
For a mechanical appraisal, I'd probably take it somewhere else.
