    Cranky Jack Challenge

    Well...I didnt think it possible...taking a family sedan/wagon affroad
Cranky Jack Challenge | The Cranky Jack Challenge

I was invited by Muppet(from the OBC fame) to come along...basically taking an XF wagon, in our case, off road to places I didnt think possible.

Its all in the aid of raising money for charities, and getting out and enjoying yourself.

The event had point to point time trials, navigation, GPS points to find, quizzes, competitions and was an awesome event.

Our car was an XF wagon, Maxxis Bighorns on the back, heavy duty springs, alloy bash plate under the car, bullbar, 2 spotties and 2 spares on the roof.

We ended up destroying 2 front tyres, holing the radiator, loosing the bumper and both taillights...and cos we won the event we got to keep the car!!!!!!

As a result of the weekend both my and my wife are now very good at using the GPS and entering waypoints in all types of formats, know how to patch radiators and repair tyres in no time flat....and how hard you can drive an XF through the scrub...which is VERY HARD!!!

If you ever get a chance to go on any event like this ...GO FOR IT!!!!

Yeah Pete is a Holden man...the falcon has a red motor and 1 tonner gearbox in it!!! LMAO!!!

The XF looks a bit odd with all the HDT stickers on it and the wing on the boot with SLR5000ish across the back

450km through the bush...and used 120L of fuel!!!!!!
