    Tevion TV, any good?

Aldi has a 32" TV for under $499 which looks good deal.
    Are they any good?
    Your inputs are appreciated

Ive found Aldi stuff to be fairly good!

Ive bought a bit of their consumer electronics stuff and not had a drama, Most recent purchase was one of their 10 inch notebooks a few weeks ago and its a good bit of gear.

If its LCD id buy it

Sadly (for me ) every time I've been tempted by what I think is a great deal it's turned around to bite me. I'm generally sceptical at best, cynical at worst

Yes, and sometimes all you are paying for is the name, not a better quality item.

I, for one do not believe that a set of dice with a prancing horse instead of the one dot is worth 58 Euros or about $84.36.

The dice are probably worth $0.36. The prancing horse will cost you an extra $84.

Check out this site if you want some expensive trinkets where clearly you are paying for the name, not the quality of the product.

    yep, its worth it...

we would have bought one but we got a toshiba in the same spec for only $40 more that came with a longer warrenty and more inputs/inbuilt features.

the local (ipswich) aldi crew were more than helpful in letting me peruse the tech docs from one of the boxes on shelf and admited that they werent moving as fast as they expected them to. if your lucky you might in the next 2 weeks see a few units left that get marked down $50-80.

I know a few blokes that have had some of the other gear and it seems to be holding up well enough.
