    Heartbeat - not as good

Did you see the landy on heartbeat, and does it belong to anyone here? I like the series and have watched it for some years but the last two shows set in oz were rather poor.......What do you think?

We normally watch it, but "Doc Martin" has been getting our vote instead lately However that series has just finished so it's back to Heartbeat on saturday. We've missed the aussie episodes unfortunately.

When in UK in 2007, we caught the train, Steam of course, from Pickering . The train stopped at a station and the guard came along and asked if anyone wanted to get off. Why, a passenger asked. Guard said this is the station that is seen in Heartbeat. Passenger asked if Gina was going to be there. No said the guard. Passenger said, keep going.

The episode last night on 7two in Victoria, was the second part of their trip to oz and very over the top with slang. The series 3 shortie was the police paddy wagon. The police car (Rambler I think) was only good on the tarmac.
The location was Moorillabar or something like that, it was a small coastal town that was also in the outback???? I think they wanted a Cunnamulla/Mooloolaba place of the 60's.
