FYI.....The correct term is 'CLUBBED', but if you own a 7,8 or Sand Iron and you have a problem with the redneck next door and you make a selection to go over to fix the mongrel up then you are permitted to make the statement to the Police " I just went over to iron out the problem" this conveys the correct image that you are a person of non-violence and rely mainly on you negotiation and mediation skills to solve your day to day little hick-ups and looks good when you come up before the courts and allows the Beak to dismiss all charges against you, you being an upstanding model citizen and a licenced person who would not for one instance remotely consider using your licenced weap......errrrr Golf Clubs...to beat the bejezus outta some a/hole who desperately needs an attitude modification so........therefore your story that he slipped on the stairs as he was lungeing at you and hit his head a couple of dozen times on the iron railing.....why that must be true.....You may go in peace now Model Citizen.

I wonder if you need a Blue Card to use a golf club near children?

An amusing read, but hardly a valid comparison.

Yes, and it sounds much better than

"The redneck yokel moved in next door and was making all sorts of racket so I headed over there with a wood and belted him around the head with it"
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
