    That is what I like about this forum - I did not notice the brake lever and had to go back and have a 2nd look - and agree.
    Dave - are you getting rid of the D1?

    If looking, I too would prefer one with a few less kms than 175,000.

    This one that appeared last night on carsales appears to be good:

    2003 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY HSE TD5 MY2003 Cars For Sale in VIC - carsales.com.au - carsales.com.au

    Td5 HSE, under 140,000km, service history, and most importantly for a HSE - it is BLACK!

    ...and it's in VIC!

    I would get down there and view this one before bidding on the Sydney auction one.

    When I find a suitable replacement. I had my heart set on a D3 HSE, but they are still way out of my price range and they seem to be taking forever to come down in price, so I have resigned myself to a D2 if I can find one.

    It's not a TD5 it's a V8. And yes after another look it is only an S
