Haltech E6X
G'day all, I just purchased a Haltech E6X computer to run the 3.9 V8 fuel and ignition in the rangie. Has anyone got a copy of a base map or complete tuned map for this ecu? Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers Goran

I seem to recall that when sold new they supply a base map, so I assume you bought it second hand.
Again this is from years ago but I think they will sell you a base map but it costs.

Graeme Cooper in sydney fits Haltechs as piggybacks, and I recall a conversation with him years ago about him not liking fitting stand alone haltechs etc as he always had comebacks, as they could never get them to run as well as a factory ECU, mainly because of the dyno time factor.
Anyway it may be worth a call.
If you are in Sydney , he would probably be top candidate to tune it.

Haltech don't have base maps. A friend of mine works there. When I had my e6x I had it tuned by Mark at BEMW at castle hill in Sydney. He would prob be able to sell you a base map to get you going. He would be my pick to tune it in Sydney as he is a Haltech dealer and has his own rangie with a 4.6 that's quite a powerhouse.

I'm actually quite eager to learn how to tune it my self. The car runs on duel fuel so it will be running on gas until I can get it going on petrol. I just thought some on the forum was running a haltech e6x on there v8 and was willing to make a copie of there tune for me, this way I could play around with it and try to optimes it for my car. Well those were my easy plans anyway
