personally, I think they've gone looney. same skits, different people and cars over and over again.Yeah a bit of humour is good but 5th gear is what top gear was like years ago and it's good (when its on)

Well he may have been the Stig but not anymore

Stig's contract clearly states if his identity is discovered he will be replaced

Its not the first time if you have watched the whole series from day one you will have noticed that most times it isn't even the same driver from week to week

    They have
Resident Stig there resident tame racing driver

Guest Stig anyone that wants to blast a few laps as the the stig ( David soul did one appearance and as Guest Stig he did a few laps in a BMW z model) a blue one this was fairly obvious as he is a giant compared to any of the other people who did it
Its time was not put on the board even though the Stig did a lap in it

And Special Stig This is when manufacturers would like to supply there own driver to do a fast lap for the board

Michael Schumacher drove the Special Ferrari that you cant take home as the Stig cant remember the model

I can name 3 So called Resident Stigs that i can remember
First was Damon hill Black Stig
Second was Tiff needell tall stig that leaned forward as he walked
Third Jacqui Stewart short stig he was the short stig

Oh and then there was the Stig that had dark skin under his white suit so he had to wear a fire balaclava he only did a few drives

Also there was the stig that was spotted during the filming of the first show and actually spoke to the camera man he was none of the above

A couple more for you The guy that did the air bag test a 30mph was also the stig for while
Just check his neck its a dead give away

That was the Ferrari FXX (as in freaking expensive) - you'd have to be a fool to pay over one million bucks for a car and not take it home....

Why would jeremy want to stop... that's gotta be

There's only one answer to that

No you don't watch the show

    Quote from WIki
The Stig's true identity has never been revealed on the show. In order to maintain the secrecy, all shots show him wearing full [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpinestars"]Alpinestars[/ame] racing [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overall"]overalls[/ame] bearing a small Grand Prix Racewear (a motorsport retailer) logo and matching [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simpson_Performance_Products"]Simpson[/ame] racing [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmet"]helmet[/ame] (originally a Speedway RX model, in later series a Diamondback model).[5][32] All that can be seen from the gap between his helmet and jumpsuit is that he is a white male with dark hair. It is also known that he wears Size 10 racing boots as discovered by the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sunday_Times"]Sunday Times[/ame][33] and a well-timed camera flash managed to show The Stig's eyes by [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto_Trader"]Auto Trader[/ame].[34] Although The Stig does talk with celebrities while preparing them for their "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" lap times, he is almost never shown talking on screen, and in both the programme and Top Gear magazine articles he is portrayed as being unable or unwilling to talk.[35][36] Clarkson has written that The Stig is not permitted to talk on screen because "any opinion he might voice on cars would be rubbish",[7][37] though he has been caught speaking on camera.
The identity of Black Stig was revealed to be [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perry_McCarthy"]Perry McCarthy[/ame] when his book Flat Out, Flat Broke was published in 2002. McCarthy is a former [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_One"]Formula One[/ame] driver for [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Moda_Formula"]Andrea Moda[/ame]. He was also the test driver for the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benetton_Formula"]Benetton[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrows"]Arrows[/ame], and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WilliamsF1"]Williams[/ame] teams and also tested for [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Sauber"]BMW F1[/ame].[4][5]
The identity of White Stig has not been officially revealed and is regarded as a carefully guarded secret by the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC"]BBC[/ame].[3][38] Racing drivers ranging from [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Bailey"]Julian Bailey[/ame],[3][39] Ben Collins,[2][3][40][41][42] [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Goodwin"]Chris Goodwin[/ame],[3] [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damon_Hill"]Damon Hill[/ame],[43][44][45] [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heikki_Kovalainen"]Heikki Kovalainen[/ame],[3] [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Schrick"]Tim Schrick[/ame],[46][47][48], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Schumacher"]Michael Schumacher[/ame],[45][49][50] and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russ_Swift"]Russ Swift[/ame][3][41][43] have been speculated as being The Stig at one point or another by the press, other racing drivers, and fans of the show.
Perry McCarthy,[4] Russ Swift,[43] and an unnamed former Stig[3] have claimed that there is more than one driver who plays the role of The Stig. James May claims that there is a clause in The Stig's contract that should his identity be exposed, either through his own willingness or via a member of the Top Gear staff (including the hosts of Top Gear), he has to be fired. Black Stig was supposedly let go via this clause; the same clause would apply also to White Stig under the same circumstances.[51] In August 2010, the BBC was reportedly attempting to block [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HarperCollins"]HarperCollins[/ame] from publishing an unauthorised book that reveals the identity of the White Stig[52]; this led to the Sunday Times to declare Ben Collins as The Stig via information from Ben Collin's financial reports from his firm, Collins Autosport. In one report from December of 2003, a financial report noted the firm providing "driving services provided for the BBC, mainly in the Top Gear programme"; around the same time, White Stig was introduced onto the show. A BBC spokesman downplayed the idea, noting Collins driving in a [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Lancer_Evolution"]Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution[/ame] as an example of the services Collin's firm provides the show.[53][54]
Specialist drivers and stuntmen have also been hinted at playing the role of The Stig; Stuntmen Terry Grant and Russ Swift have been hinted as donning The Stig's trademark racing suit.[3] The Winter Olympics special episode of Top Gear showed The Stig doing a [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ski_jump"]ski jump[/ame] using a [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowmobile"]snowmobile[/ame]; the driver performing the ski jump stunt was claimed to be Dan Lang, a Swedish snowmobile cross driver.[3][55] "Rig Stig" seen in Series 12 Episode 1 drove British [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truck_racing"]Truck racing[/ame] champion Stuart Oliver's truck on the show, indicating a truck racing driver was used in the segment .[56]
There has been some criticism of efforts to identify The Stig.[3][57] [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Times"]The Times[/ame] criticised the outing of Ben Collins by the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daily_Telegraph"]Daily Telegraph[/ame] in an article which asserted that the "identity of the white-suited Stig ... has been an [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_secret"]open secret[/ame] within the motoring world for some years, with newspapers refraining from publishing his name, to uphold the spirit of the programme."[2]
The BBC and Top Gear have varied their responses to The Stig's true identity. One official BBC response to such speculation is, "We never comment on speculation as to who or what The Stig is."[3] However, comical and joke responses to Stig's true identity are sometimes presented as well.[58][59][60][61] In one example, after The Stig drove an all-black [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_FXX"]Ferrari FXX[/ame][62] around the Top Gear Test Track, he was brought into the studio, and ostensibly revealed as [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Schumacher"]Michael Schumacher[/ame].[63] Clarkson then stated at the end of the show "I'm not sure if Michael Schumacher is The Stig" after showing a comedy clip of Schumacher (dressed up as The Stig) supposedly struggling to drive the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Liana"]Suzuki Liana[/ame], and getting lost around the test track.[64] Top Gear would only confirm Schumacher as playing the Stig in that particular episode.[65]

The stig wants to write an autobiogrphy that would give his identity away
