Sorry I got my Voles and my Vowels mixed up again.

Voles are the little rodent type creatures that live in holes and vowels are ... well actually I'm not sure what vowels are.

That might have had something to do with growing up in good old Ponsonby in the 60's and 70's when I was the only white boy in the street and the only white boy in the 1st XV at high school. However while I don't know what vowels are I do know how to swear in five different Pacific Island languages which was a very hard learned skill I have never found I needed since leaving NZ.

haha. Yep. Lived in Grey Lynn 30 odd years ago and currently in Point Chev. I know what you mean. Things have been gentrified a lot around there since then though.

The big green ex-US army changing sheds are still there.
