What sort of stove is in the old house? Is it restorable? Don't toss it. A nice veranda surrounding it and a stove burning inside, you'd have a palace!

I have fascination for old range cookers, solid fuel, oil the whole lot. One thing I do on my long distance camping trips is head straight for an abandoned homesteads and sus out the cooker. Metters, Homesteaders, Simpsons, Warrens, Rayburns, love them all, especially the king of them all, Agas (designed by a Swede btw). Drove the old Ghan railway line a couple of years ago and photographed every stove at every old station I could get to, that had one still in there.

Anyway thanks for posting your pics.
