I think that maybe you were to hasty in contacting the police, after all they were probably making an implement for Agg for cutting down the Lantana and scrub!
All boys make those things in metalwork and it basicly boils down to lack of supervision on the part of the teacher, which may be difficult with a class of over 30 little darlings?
Making zipguns, pea shooters, catapults, bows and arrows is also high on the most wanted list of most 15 yr olds.
Anyway what were you doing looking out of the window and not paying proper attention to you class?

I dont know if i would have called the cops, the principal did that.

I agree with the supervision thing, i wasnt teaching the class, and there were less than 10 of them in a small room. They had to cut the steel, weld the handle on and then grind the edges to a sharp point and it was not picked up by the teacher

LOL, i had a period off so was helping another teacher with a cooking class cooking spring rolls cause I was hungry

that is always the way when hungry go to the cooking rooms
