English is a stupid subject, yes being able to use the english language effectively is important but understanding poetry and **** like that is something i can do without.

English, the subject, should focus on teaching the youth of today the skills of writing in languages other than text talk.

yep, i used to mark assignments all the time with text talk in them, thats just how some kids type/write these days. Not good at all.
