When come to think about it, it is a sad possibility, but then again Aldi does not run a charity when the brother and sister have about $20 billion each.
We need Australian manufacturing and I will be happy to pay good money for a good product.
Now, if Mitre 10 sold them by $28.00 for the pair, how much will get the manufacturer??
Perhaps there is more than that and some money laundry in between the transactions???

A Quick google indicates it could be the high jet needing adjusting. I took the air filter off and had a poke around. Anyone able to tell where the high jet needle is?
    Was fresh fuel used ?
Some of the newer motors seem to run OK on fresh fuel but don't like old fuel. Had a similar problem with a hedgetrimmer, ran some new fuel through it and all OK. Instructions mentioned not using fuel more that 3 or 4 months old !

Just picked up a Ryobi Scorpion from my local tip shop for $10.
Started OK and ticked over but wouldn't run flat out without 1/2 choke. Stripped the carby, blew out the jets and now runs like a new one. Came with half a tank of fuel as well.
