Thread: the van's gone!

well it looks like ive sold my camper van (see here poptop camper van - eBay, Caravans, Motorhomes, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 19-Sep-10 18:58:34 AEST) ) so now i'll be looking to start a camper trailer setup, i will just be looking to get the trailer first then add the top later so here is where the suggestions come in !!! all i know is that i want a 7x4 trailer and have a budget of about $1500 i was thinking of a semi off road one with high sides etc do you think id be able to get a brand new one for that price and if so any suggestions of trailer places in the s.e of melb??

Probablly unlikely to get a trailer like that for $1500, but maybe just look around. Personally if we were to get a camper again I would build my own.
A lot depends on what you want.
The other option is to look for a good second hand unit and add heavy duty springs, axles etc and maybe strip cold gal and paint properly.
