    Try this

Fraser Island Holidays - Holiday Letting

We have stayed a few times, it a good friends families house and we have been renting there for years. Location and facilities are perfect and they can give you some great advice on things to do.

best advice, just stay away when the march flies are busy, they will ruin a holiday....buggers can cart your beer away if you are not looking.

oh....and just relax and enjoy it...

Also, any tips on where to go and what to see? I just got hold of a Hema Map of the island so I'll start looking at that.

Mate - best tip is don't collide with the land cruisers and patrols stuck up to the sills in Indian head. Cheers

    Hey Mud,

    You'll be sweet.
There's a few threads on here (obviously), and one from the trip we did last year.

Plan the tides, and go Teewah / DI up the beach. Miles quicker, heaps shorter, lovely drive and miles less traffic.

If you take the cutting after Rainbow and get on the beach, rather than going all the way to the barge on the bitumen, you'll not only miss all the knuckleheads making a meal of things, when they hit the sand, you'll come round the corner and get straight on the barge.

I took the leisha track just the other day... easy run, better surface than i've ever seen the freshwater road. rainbow beach is still quite narrow, but is navigable.

Do a search on aulro for "Vlad's Fraser Odyssey" - there are two instalments and they will tell you the places to see and do. Enjoy.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
