    Fell in love again....!

Well, we have a very small back yard (inner city living) which we are laying a concrete slab in so the Trayon camper can be wheelled into a corner.

So I have the camper on the back and have been driving the 130 to and from work for the last week, and yesterday morning I just thought "Geez I love this car I can just drive it normally even though I've got close to a ton on the back"

    Just had to share!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Every time I drive any Land Rover, within moments I find myself thinking "Geez, I love this car!"

Funny, isn't it? Doesn't matter to me if it's a Series One, a 101, Defender or whatever....I always grin like an idiot and feel like I am off on some big adventure, even when I am going to the shops to get the weekend papers.

they do say the land rover bug is an incurable disease, this would be why. I dont think I could bare myself to part with the disco, if we ever think about planning on another car we just consider it as an extra, the thought of selling the disco doesnt enter my mind and the missus wouldnt dare suggest it

My dream would be a 101 with a td5 with the "full" chip treatment and an auto, with Disco ratios (and a full sound system with headphones!).....mmmmmmmmmm

I love driving my Disco too ..................... but where work has me staying in a Hotel in Perth the moment, I'm glad I've left the Disco home and am using hire cars.

Last week I had a Barina sedan, and even that was a bit tight in some of the parking spots. Today when I got down here, I picked up a Hyundai Getz - a much better fit.

I was watching someone trying to get a Commodore into a parking bay under the Hotel earlier when I checked in. Thought to myself at the time ........... "geez they're bloody lucky they're not driving a Defender 130".
    Cheers .........
