    Bloody Clarkie!!

...Came in to work this afternoon, proceeded to dismantle his 110 in the forecourt, stole an alternator off a customers Disco and stuck it on his vehicle, comandeered a hoist and changed his front diff oil, made me adjust his rear wheel bearings (otherwise he threatened to come back in the morning and do it himself), and then made me late home incurring the wrath of SWMBO. I am currently writing this outside, in the cold on the porch where I am sleeping for the night...

Actually parts of the above are blatantly untrue,( Not telling which bits though)

It was a pleasure to finally meet the character that is S.Clarke, and hope he and his associates continue to enjoy their Tassie visit, and that one of their number injured recently makes a quick recovery

Thought you'd have invited the local constabulary to put he and his mainland mates 'up' for the night and show them some Southern hospitality!!

    Cheers.

Don't feel bad Ean - there's two of us

And cos he's in Tassie now and we're up here (well I think you still are) then that's why we haven't met him.
    Cheers, Dale

Err, no the vehicle in question wasn't, and didn't need its alternator anymore but I wouldn't want that to get in the way of a good yarn

I'm too scared to ask about what the photosynthesizing tyre bead is all about, but I think it must have something to do with Nitrogenenous waste, in a liquid form??

Did you get my PM Lou?
