I don't think I'll get a 3D tv, having to wear glasses to watch.
Going to the Cinema and seeing movies in 3D after a while gave us head aches.
Just been to the cinema with the Mrs. It was in 3D so we had to wear the plastic 3D glasses. The Mrs got up to go "outside" for a moment. As she passed me by I got the full rear end view with the 3D glasses. Enough to say that I am still recovering

im not a big fan of it. Good every now and then to go and see a movie in 3d but i still prefer to sit there and watch a 2d movie.

Gerry Harvey ( Harvey Norman) would like to hear that, he's always waffliing along on TV at every opportunity saying it's amazing etc etc. Sure he gain to profit from all the 3D TV sales. I had a look at one of their stores and tried on the glasses on one of their display TVs, I must have been watching on the wrong angle or something as all I saw was some coloured ghosting?????
sounds like your glasses were not turned on![]()

Don't get me wrong its impressive technology but i just dont get all the hype, i saw Toy Story 3 in 3D and yeah the stuff jumps out a bit but it strained my eyes and I would have prefered to save the $15 buying the three of us those stupid glasses and watched it in 2D.
With the TV's, Lou can you watch 2D stuff with them or is it 3D only? I would never buy one if it were 3D for everything.

I can't see the hype. I've found 3d movies give me a headache and make me pretty dizzy.
It probably is time for a new tv though, the tube in mine is finally stuffed.
