    Hi! And a bit of help!

    Hey all!

    I am new to the land of Rovers (he he), I have owned a Serria, a GQ Patrol and currently have a LWB Jeep Wrangler CRD as my main 4WD.

    I have taken the plunge and bought a old Landrover for a bit (well, a lot of) a a Restoration job! It's a SWB but, first things first, I need to ID it!

    I have been searching for some ID numbers however haven't been able to match up anything on the web with what's on the Landy! So I need some help!

    If you can point me in the right direction as to Year Built, Engine Size/Type and anthing else I am likely to need for a full rebuild that would be great!

    Welcome to the world of land rovers mate, its a great world to be in, once you get bitten by the bug there is no escaping it.

    I cant help with the ID part of the post but i do know that with alot of the older land rovers its not that easy to pin point an exact year model, more a year range.
