I agree, would be a great family bus, and I reckon it would be cheaper to run all loaded up than a tarago or similat MPV.

    Would look even cooler aswell.

I am not sure about the roof...surely it would have been better to cut a cab roof down and welded to the 110 roof...would all be rounded the same as the rear windows.....my thoughts only

Yep, i would love to see it done as a wagon too!

With regards to the roof and doors, he has alot of plans for it but could only get it to the stage shown in flex ramp pic, it was only engineered a few days ago, the tray was thrown on just to pass engineering.

He told me he has another roof, 130 i think, he is going to modify to suit, with the rear doors, the middle row are going to be made square bottoms and glass extended to the length of the door for a full wind down window, the very rear doors are going to be made so the windows open as well.

As cal415 has mentioned the roof is not finished yet. It is not really legible in the photo but the builder had actually written a note on the left rear quarter window mentioning that the roof will not look like this as they are not finished with it.

I must say that the truck did look very impressive, and I reckon it would be perfect for a large family. They have some more big plans for it so it should look awesome when it's done. Soon the builder will be posting the build up of the vehicle on the all four x 4 spares website: www.allfourx4.com.au

They also had a sign on it indicating they were after a 130 tub in any condition.

Landrover UK has a a few 6 doors which they drive you around the different buildings at their Solihull factory. They did say it was too big an engineering excerise to get it approved for sale to the general public, as it would be classed as a new vehicle. Their words, not mine.

As owner of a 130 Defender with 8 inch extended cab conversion which allows the seats to be moved back, seems to me that another possible conversion based on a 130 (with 127" wheelbase) is a station wagon with the extra 17 inches between front and back doors. Would give limousine like very roomy back seats as well as allowing front seats to be moved well back when desired.

I love it, a few years ago I messed around with a photo of Sally Anne and came up with this,

As no-doubt my family will get bigger I'll be needing a bigger 130.
