there was an incident here a few weeks back where a guy was riding like that with his girlfriend on the back. He went to overtake a van on the left hand side on the highway just as the van indictated left and turned in on him. Both rider and pillion passenger were thrown from the bike, passenger hit a concrete culvet before being crushed between the bike and a pole. She died on the scene he got a broken ankle.

Then I got home from work and told the missus about it and the girl was one of stacey's work mates. Completely messed the whole work place for a month, and she was a single mother to an 11 month old boy (boyfriend not the father).

    Some people just dont think.

A few months back stacey was riding home from a friends place and a ute failed to give way at the roundabout, stacey had slowed right down and in the end she only nudged into the side of the ute and dropped the bike on her right hand. Hand still hasnt recovered.

In my new job I cant say it often enough, its even changed how I drive a car and ride the bike, SLOW down and take your time. Its better to arrive late than not at all.

Sadly this bloke has some pretty good skills that he wants to show off at the wrong place.
I have ridden bikes for many years mostly Ducatis and done track days and riding courses and one often likes to try it out on the road I grant him that.
Its the wrong place and we should get onto some proper race and drag strips in this country, get Dads and mums to stop teaching the driving and riding and get proper instructors with much tougher qualifications.

This kid is someones son(I presume) and I wish they knew how stupid and selfish he is. Too many lifes lost this way.

Spot on, selfish is exactly what he is.

These people also need to think about the driver of the car that he could possibly hit and the fact that they would have to live with his death.

The Russians are driving some tidy late model cars. Not the smoky Ladas you used to see.

I just tried to edit my post before you saw it. You are quite correct.

Back to the Russian textbooks and away from AULRO for a while again.

    I vote for stupid.

If he wants to race, he needs to do it against others that are also racing and on a race track.

"It will never happen to me" have we heard that before.
