    Closed:
    Front: 490mm
Rear - too damn hard to hold in & measure at the same time, and noone else in the house ATM to assist.

Hope the open lengths are useful.
Wait 'til you go to fit them. Backs aren't too bad as you can get to them. I found the way to do them solo on the front was to pull the inner guard covers, and undo the turret. I could then use body weight to push down and start the turret nuts. I was too lazy to jack the body up.

If they are going in the Puma, I don't know if that will still work though with a tighter engine bay.

    Thumbs up

I'm glad someone has posted a good review of eShocks. I was pricing up some front shocks for her ladyship's Merc ML, and they had the best price around.

Was just a little put off that their website looks a little amateurish.

Hi Sheerluck - I had the same thoughts as you about their website. I rang them and spoke to a bloke called Jason, & he seemed to know which way was up.

Because they did not have them in stock, they agreed to take my Visa details, but not bill me until Bilstein had supplied them. That way, they said if they could not get hold of any, I would not have paid anything, so no complications with refunds etc. I thought that was a reasonable way to do business.

    So Spudboy,
did you get the details of your shock model from Bilsteins' own site, then asked eshock if they could supply?

Yep - my first email to them came back with the suggestion of using 110 shocks, as that's what they had in stock, and they didn't have the 130 HD shocks in their standard listing.

Once I got the right model numbers for them, they they tracked down the heavier duty Billies for me.
