Some senior analysts say $1.15 is on the cards.
Our whitegoods, tv, electrical in general and much clothing will drop in price by %20.
On my last trip O/S and in fact many friends we have alll noticed how the cost of living here in OZ is now way higher than that in say Italy, Germany, Spain etc.
Never used to be like that. Visitors I speak to in my Bar often comment and say similar.
Years ago they said how cheap life is here.

I love my life here and living here what I don't like is how over governed and short sighted we have become as a whole.
The US is in total caos and the rest follows suit.

Now we all find bargains there as their $$ is weak and we spend money that many people don't have and our interest rate goes up to slow the economy.

What a circle we are all getting into again.

Now what do I need from the states?? Hmm!

Very bad news for exports from Australia though....

Alsoi means more of the short sighted money grabbers will be suddenly interested in Australian currency... the same group who like to drop things like hot potatoes if there is so much as a wimper things might not keep growing at out of control rates..... you know the same type that bring companies, stock markets, economies crashing down because they can't sustain there unrealistic profit expectations. Rant over!
