    Trailer lights

    Hi Folks.

Anyone bought any of the LED trailer lights on Ebay?

I'm after a set. Never liked the ones on my trailer and the internals of one is damaged so I soldered the wires to the bulbs. Well just one of the bulbs anyway.

Anywhere else you could go and get a good price?

Ebay is just easier with delivery.

    Thanks

I have found these guys to be good for LED lighting.

You need to make sure that any that you buy are ADR approved, and you run the risk on Ebay, especially with the cheap imports, that they aren't.

We have these on our boat trailer and have had similar lights on our other trailer for 5 years now and have never gone near them,

We bought these from Bursons who have stores everywhere.

On the 130 project and trailer last year we used strip lights on the car and similar LEDs on the trailer. It is a matter of what fits and personal choice. See pages 36 & 43.

We have also bought parts from the Bright Lights site.

Are those Narva lights on your trailer?

I called REPCO today and they have some in their catalogue which are Narva slimline LED lights which look the same as those for $50/pr on special.
I'm going to check them out on the weekend.

I think they are Narva. They came with a water proof plug and a length of cable which I soldered / heat shrunk into the existing wiring.
