If you look carefully up behind him you can see the ears of a police GSD...restrained by his handler - after he started running towards the swarm of police why they didnt let him go I dont know...very quick end to the problem.

    Cheers

Paintball would be better.......... With a lead based paint. Or maybe just painted lead.

because if police dogs are exposed to OC or pepper spray it renders them useless and they have to be retired.

Mate they should have let him go as soon as they saw him with the nunchucks...it was actually probably too late when he was running. Having said that you wouldn't risk an expensively trained dog against a nutter with chucks with all those armed police there to deal with him.
    Cheers

I doubt that. OC, in some cases, has no affect on canines at all. And given the police dogs overriding nature is to work (i.e. do the job they are trained for) the dogs overcome the irritation and discomfort. Have seen it in training and on the street.
