Here's a pic of our drive I think if I don't laugh I'll cry. Can't imagine what it's going to look like when it subsides. Funny thing is at 7.15 this morning the creek was at it's normal height, now it's at least 8 feet higher. Too deep even for the County to cross.

Wot he sed.........................Got seven days off (normal roster) Great said I......will get stuck in and fix up the dash, sort the wiring, and get some painting done...... Painted the handbrake lever yesterday in the morning and 24 hours later still wet...back yard looks like a swamp......3 fathoms of water between me and the shed....me dawg won't even comtemplate coming outside with me, has taken up residence on the bed and refuses to leave, so much for undying devotion.

Thank god something went right---- I'am down south and it's sunny

things are drying out a bit here now, we had flood warnings in bathurst and the river rose up a fair way during a week or two of heavy rain. Had to close the road with the low level bridge on it, water was touching the bottom, its normally 4m below the underside of the bridge.

Orange had a similar problem, they have been on severe water restrictions for years, then all of a sudden there is to much water flowing over the dam and they are worried about down stream flooding, goes from one extreme to another.

My neighbour says total of 460mm in his rain gauge from 6.00am Thursday until 6.00am today. And has been fair ****ing down most of today.
